Winona is an administrator in the homicide unit. She is a recurring background character, probably a secretary but possibly an officer, at the offices of the BPD Homicide Division. She is a middle-aged African American woman with a distinctive bouffant blond hairdo. Her name is first mentioned by Detective McNulty in episode 201. Winona has a penchant for checking out Detective Jimmy McNulty's behind when he walks into the office.
