Sonja Sohn

Sonja Sohn is an American actress of African and Korean America heritage.
Before she was an actress, Sohn was a slam poet, having written lyrics and co-written the script for the film Slam.
She has had a starring role as Detective Shakima Greggs on HBO series The Wire since the first season.[1]
She is now living in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband, Adam Plack, and daughter, Sophia Wang, while her eldest daughter, Sakira Wang, lives in New York City.
