Uta Briesewitz is a German American cinematographer. She was the Director of Photography for the first, second, & third seasons. She left the crew after the episode "Hamsterdam" and was replaced by David Insley. She has also worked on HBO films Life Support and the HBO series John From Cincinnati and Hung. She was the cinematographer for the films Session 9 (2001), Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007), and Arthur (2011).
