Erik Todd Dellums, born September 23, 1964 in San Francisco, California, USA, is an actor. He guest stars as Dr. Randall Frazier in the first, second, & third seasons. He has appeared in The Wire creator David Simon's other series Homicide: Life on the Street. He has appeared in The Doors (1991), Doctor Dolittle (1998),

Boycott (2001), and Fallout 3 (2008).

BiographyEdit

Dellums was born in the San Francisco bay area and moved to Washington, D.C. in his teens. He graduated from Brown University in 1986 and has since worked in LA, NY and Washington, D.C. He is the son of former congressman Ron Dellums, (D-CA). He was portrayed (as a child) by Travis Kyle Davis in the Disney Channel Original Movie, The Color of Friendship which was based on what happened when his family hosted a foreign exchange student from South Africa during the Apartheid era. He also had a cameo in this movie playing one of Congressman Dellums' aides.

He has had parts in television police dramas such as New York Undercover and Homicide: Life on the Street. He was featured on Homicide in a multi-season recurring role as fictional drug kingpin Luther Mahoney. He also appeared in the Clark Johnson directed film Boycott. Early in his career he had minor appearances in several Spike Lee films, such as She's Gotta Have It and Do the Right Thing. In addition, he provided the voice acting for the character "Koh the Face Stealer" in the animated Nickelodeon series Avatar: The Last Airbender.
