Dave Trovato is an American actor.

he guest stars as Lieutenant Walter Cantrell in the first season episode "The Detail". He reprised the role uncredited in the later first season episode "Sentencing" and the fourth season episode "Unto Others". He has appeared in The Wire creator David Simon's other series Homicide: Life on the Street and The Corner. He has appeared in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and the films Cecil B. DeMented (2000) and Something the Lord Made (2004).

BiographyEdit

Trovato has also appeared in The Corner, Homicide: Life on the Street and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He played a construction foreman in The Corner. He had a recurring role as Officer Mike Graul in seasons 5 to 7 of Homicide. He played FBI Agent #1 in SVU. He appeared in the HBO films production Something the Lord Made as Dr. Harmel and John Waters film Cecil B. Demented as SWAT cop #3.
