Chris Clanton, born 28 September 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, is an actor. He plays Savino Bratton in The Wire. He is a guest star in the first & fifth seasons. He is credited as Christopher J. Clanton in the fifth series. He has appeared in The Wire creator David Simon's other series The Corner as a street kid. He has been active since 2000 and has also appeared in the films Torn (2009), Razorblade City (2010), King of Baltimore (2010), All in the Game (2011), and LUV (2012).

BiographyEdit

He trained with Central Stage Baltimore and the Rising Stars Theater Troupe and has appeared in several stage production with these organizations. His stage credits include Untitled by Center Stage as Uncle Cliff, The Wiz by Rising Stars Theater Troupe as Scarecrow, and Piecing It Together an Original Musical by Rising Stars Theater Troupe (2002-03) as Ricky.
