Angel M. Wainwright is an American actress. She appears uncredited as Tywanda in season 1 The Wire episode "The Pager". She has also appeared in The Corner and Homicide: Life on the Street. She portrayed Fran Boyd as a teenager in flashbacks in The Corner (Khandi Alexander played the adult role). She played Shy Love in the season 2 Homicide episode "Bop Gun" (David Simon and David Mill's television writing debut) and reprised the role in the season 7 episode "The Why Chromosome". She has a recurring role in The Unit as Betsy Blane, the daughter of the main characters. She also has a recurring role on General Hospital as Regina Thompson.

She enrolled at SUNY Purchase College, and is awaiting graduation from the Theatre Arts and Film conservatory.
