Andre Royo, born July 17, 1968 in Bronx, New York, USA, is an actor. He stars as Bubbles in first, second, third, fourth, & fifth seasons. He has appeared in the films Shaft (2000), Super (2010), and Red Tails (2012).

BiographyEdit

He is of Afro-Cubanheritage.[1]Royo attended Mount St. Michael Academy in The Bronx from 1982 - 1986 alongside other actors Sean "Diddy" Combs and muMs da Schemer.

He has had a starring role on the HBO program The Wire as drug addict and confidential informant, "Bubbles" since the shows first season.[2] He also had a small role in John Singleton's 2000 remake of the film Shaft. The film was written by The Wire writer Richard Price.

He had a recurring role in Fringe as cab driver Henry Arliss Higgins from 2010 to 2011. The series stars his The Wire colleague Lance Reddick.
